The schools are GREAT! It’s clean, homes are newer, it’s close to shopping, restaurants & not far from Sky Harbor Airport. I have been impressed by the parental involvement in the schools. That’s what makes them do so well. This area attracts parents that seem to value and promote education. The homes and amenities include the Ocotillo Golf Club with several gated communities and upscale homes. Upscale restaurants and shopping close by. Several parks and Waterfront Homes are in the area.

Personally, I believe that Chandler is a great area to raise a family! I have lived in such a family oriented neighborhood that encouraged, playing outdoors, riding bikes, and attending different little league games at Pima Park. Some things I would like to see change would be the cleanliness of some of the areas on Arizona Avenue. With the city of Chandler being pretty old there are some parts of town that may be a little run down. Although, there have been great improvements over the years! I would have to say, that Chandler High School is one of the prettiest high schools I have ever seen. I would like to add that Downtown Chandler has become more oriented towards night life and I really enjoyed working at the Perch Brewery!
This is best place for outgoing introverts. Everyone does their own thing, but if you speak to someone directly they are mostly helpful and friendly. One of the things I love is the diversity. We have people from all over, of all ages. We are an independent community, but when it matters we come together to address it (public school taxes.) This place is not the stuffy, conservative redneck hellscape that people associate with Arizona. It has really helped create a wonderful culture about the city.

It's quiet and safe with multiple, multiple choices for entertainment and food; both grocery stores and restaurants included. It's amazing how many things are packed into this town in the middle of the desert. The problem is getting stuck in the Chandler-Tempe Bubble because there's not too much of a reason to leave.

I'm an older millennial that thought I wouldn't even come to like this place when I moved here and now I can't stop thinking how lucky I am to live in the city I do!
