New Mexico is truly the Land of Enchantment. There is so much beauty in this state & we are one of the only states that is almost all still land. We don't have many cities or roads which leaves our land untouched and free to keep it's natural beauty. The weather may be a bit bipolar but the scenery & life style out here is great. Not to mention New Mexico is the only place you can get real chili in the unified states & really anywhere else other than our other Spanish cultured countries/states out of the U.S. Every morning the sky looks like it's painted by artists in the sky to give us a sunset like no other, then at sunset the artists come out again & make the sky even more amazing then before. The sunrise & sunset are never the same. You can go out & stare at the stars in the sky without busy city noise. It's peaceful. You can be one with nature here & you can always expect to be amazed each day because New Mexico always has something new to show you even if you live here forever, it's just an endless amount of secrets & beauty that get unearthed little by little. I honestly never want to leave New Mexico, I just want to change which area in the state I live in, but never leave.
The crime isn't outrageous i'm New Mexico but it is still an issue because our police would rather give tickets then actually have to do some hard work involving crime. You always see police everywhere just waiting to catch people speeding but whenever you really need them they take forever to get to you or help you & then they act like it's a chore to have to do their job when they are called for something serious. They need to stop giving badges to just anyone...& not just in the state of New Mexico
