Working in Chambersburg
Chambersburg is clean, quiet and a safe place to live. There is not much nightlife but I think that is why most people live there. People like to work in their gardens and spend time at home with their family. Chambersburg is scenic with its beautiful mountains and wildlife. You can expect to see anything from an occasional turkey to a family of deer. Chambersburg also has the conveniences you may find in a big city such as great restaurants and shopping but without all the congestion. Chambersburg is a great place to raise a family or retire.
I love everything about Chambersburg. I wouldn't change anything. I like the amount of doctors offices that are located in the area. The public schools are wonderful. All of my children have gone through the same schools since kindergarten on up. I like the variety of restaurants that are in the area and there are plenty of stores to go shopping. One thing if I had to say could use improvement is the mall because a lot of the stores are closing in there oh, so there's not much left.
This is an extremely small and limited town. If you are under 45 years old, do not move here. Limited options, everyone knows everyone, and the outdoor options are minimal at best. I do not recommend this place. People are shocked if you move here and haven't grown up in the area. The local town government is also extremely corrupt. Taxes and fees for everything.
