Centreville Township Reviews
Having all four season takes a toll on roads and creates potholes frequently. The potholes are never that bad but Belleville does time its time to fill them in. There is no biking lanes but there is almost always a sidewalk. Public transportation is limited to the metro bus and train that is all that is offered but it is an excellent service for trips to St. Louis and Lambert Airport. The metro is also quiet cheap. If you are expecting to walk to the local grocery store do even think about it, everything is just spread out a little too much.
Belleville is a major fast food area, with almost no local restaurants. The few local restaurants you can find in Belleville are delicious but can sometimes be overpriced. The bar options are unlimited from gay bars to wine bars there is everything. There is one unique local store called the Abbey that has amazing coffee and tea. Recently the Abbey has started to sell wines and international beers.
You need a variety of clothing to live in Belleville all the way from a heavy winter coat to short and a tank. This is because Belleville receives all four seasons. The summers vary between mild and extremely hot(always high humidity) while winters are either mild or extremely cold. For as long as I have lived here I've only ever witnessed one tornado. Having the shifting of extreme seasons in the springs causes some pretty bad storms to pass through.
