I love this town. I have lived in worse. There's a lot of friendly people. You actually get to know your neighbors. Currently a lot of businesses that have been open since I was 10 and probably even before I moved here, are closing and and being replaced by bigger more famous stores. Yes, it helps those newer companies, but it's still sad to see the old ones go. But there are a lot of jobs for high school students because we are so close to the mall. It's a fantastic place to grow up in and I am glad I haven't moved since coming here.
There's not a lot of crime here, that I know of. You see police all the time, they are friendly and actually care about getting to know the people they protect. When my brother died, a cop that grew up on our street stayed outside my house in case my grandmother and I needed anything. These cops are some of the best people I know and they really make us feel safe.
Might feel like Breaking Bad, definitely no meth!
