A great college and family town! Main street is one of the cutest streets in all of the midwest. I especially like the local coffee shops. One of my favorite stores there sells only model trains and model train memorabilia. The campus of the University of Northern Iowa is an absolute joy. It is easily walkable on a nice day or if they weather is bad there are plenty of bike or taxi options.

This town has a small town feel with plenty to do and great people that live here. I really like living in Cedar Falls and try to make an impact every day that I am around different people and participating in new events. Cedar Falls has a great community feel from the different gyms in the area to all of the restaurants and everything in between!
A bigger town with a small town feel. Has a cute downtown mainstreet, plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. Is a college town, but to be fair it doesn't affect too much unless you are near the college. Limited in late night choices, and is missing some big box stores. Has grown over the past ten years. Next to zero in diversity though, this town would be considered conservative with the surrounding rural areas.
