Twin Lake, Mi in West Michigan is a pretty decent place to live. Crime is low, the schools are pretty good and the people overall are friendly and caring people. If you like the outdoors, there is always plenty to do, from boating and fishing in the summer to skiing and snowboarding in the winter.

It's pretty safe in this area, but unfortunately there are evil people everywhere so one always needs to use common sense and use general safety guidelines. For example, one should make it a habit to lock up your house when you leave and don't let your kids walk alone.
This is a very small community that doesn't have much to offer. There is a wonderful grocery store owned by the Moreen family called Holton Foods and that is the best thing business in town. However, everyone in the community is so friendly and nice that even the not so nice places have a great reputation. There is a great restaurant called the Feed Mill that has great food and service. So although some people might not see the quality being someone that grew up there I see the wonderful attributions of this town.
