Catonsville offers an array of family friendly, health conscious, food enthusiast choices along its main street of Fredrick Road. The supportive and close knit community enjoy sparades, festivities, live music, farmers' markets, antiques, and an assortment of Maryland/Ravens/Orioles merchandise to support local favorites! Children gather together to eat pizza and ice cream after visiting the Patapsco State Park just down the road where outdoor lovers can visit the tire park or venture out to hike, mountain bike, rock climb, swim, or enjoy a leisure stroll through the woods just minutes away. Seafood lovers will be in their glory when they visit one of many crab houses in this community, sitting down to a brown papered table cloth table, feasting on a mountain of blue crabs generously seasoned with old bay…a Maryland staple! No matter what your passion, interest, or passion, Catonsville has something for everyone!

Catonsville is a diverse small community with big opportunities. We have a sought-after school district that offers Blue Ribbon schools. We have restaurants, fine dining to fast-food. On the main strip we offer beauty shops, banks, law offices, a bakery second to none, dry cleaners, nail shops and we even have our own fire station. Also known for its music, we have places to buy any instrument that you can think of. We have a theatre in the woods that has entertainment every week from June-August. We have live entertainment every Friday on the main street from 6-8p. We have an entrance to the State Park and a uniquie tire park for children that offers a nature building. If you work in the City of Baltimore, we are only a 15 minute drive to get into the city. If you work in DC, the MARC commuter train is an 8-minute ride and you can be in DC within an hour! And the best part, home values never fall. Check it out! So as they say in Catonsville, "Life is Great in 21228!"
