Castle Rock is an interesting place. It lies just outside of the Denver Metropolitan Area, being close enough to both city life and town life. It is also kind of split into two sections, the Northern and Southern ends. Each contain businesses, nature, and residential spaces. Commuting through each is generally quick, except on certain days when traffic builds up on either the I-25 or Founders Parkway. The town also has a fair every late July and early August, with many rides and a rodeo. The general vibe of the location is fairly lively. As of now, I have no complaints about this place. If someone asked me if they should move here, I would give them a confident yes.
I stayed here a few weeks, almost a month. I was there to find work and I'm well educated and qualified. I also tried to find a worship place and tried to make it my home, but I left in disgust.
People here are mostly rich, so if you're rich, I guess you will be welcomed and you will like it. If you are not rich, as so many are not in this day and time, you will be miserable. I was sat down and told how low class I was (which I'm not) and how I just wasn't good enough for the town.
At first, they gave me some help since I'm out of work. But this quickly deteriorated into inequality and even hostility.
So watch out. The natives are hostile. I even had to go to the hospital with my blood pressure soaring because a landlady I was staying with, allowed a man to peek into my room while I was getting dressed! When I made a legitimate complaint, she came at me and it was so distressing it set off health problems and I had a hospital visit. I left disgusted.

Castle Rock is an amazing town where there are endless opportunities. The close-knit group of people living here are all welcoming and friendly. It is an amazing and safe place to live. If you are ever looking for an adventure, Castle Rock is never a dissapointment. In this town, you will find many activities to keep you busy throughout the year such as a beautiful outlet mall with many stores, endless hiking trails, fun places to eat, and a skating rink for the winter! Like any good town, we have our traditions. For example, we have a Star-Lighting event where the residents all come out to Down-Town Castle Rock during the Holiday Time to celebrate and light a giant star on the top of the giant boulder that our town is named after. Castle Rock is the place to be.
