I was born in Casper but lived most of my life in the Denver area, and only for the past couple of years decided to move back to escape the expensive hellhole Calirado has become. In the past two years I have had unimaginably bad luck and misfortune with Casper whether it be sheer lack of convenience or just lousy and dumb ignorant jock hicks. Wyoming natives who like it here call themselves “Cowboys” as if that makes them God or something. In reality, not a whole lot to justify that, especially when so many people live in poverty, nepotism runs rampant, and as other reviews have indicated people are actually quite thin-skinned, rude, and petty. I have seen a fair share of screw ups in this town who can’t get their lives together. The politics is stuck in the 1950’s, especially with marijuana. Now I came out here to save up some money and eventually move to a nicer place, but I never thought the lower price tag would bring this kind of misery. Be careful what you settle for.
Casper is a horrible place to live. People are small minded and judgmental. The weather is horrible and there are little opportunities. Sad community if you could even call it that.
Most inconsiderate rude hateful people I've ever seen. It's filthy and expensive.
These people are truly messed up. Can't decide what era they want to live in. People that were raised there want to leave. Sand and sagebrush. Windy, windy, windy. Long winters. Can't think of anything good except the road leaving.

A very cold town, not a lot of opportunities for growth, close minded people who do not accept other peoples opinions. The whole area is very anti-science, anti-medicine.
The overall experience of this area is not very good. There isn't a lot to do and I would never choose to live here again.
