I moved from NW OKC to Cashion in 2018. I have noticed how quiet it is here. We used to hear sirens 30+ times a day. The police helicopter would fly over the neighborhood at night. I lived near Quail Springs.
Out here sirens are rare.
With grandkids in school I've met the nicest people. The teachers are wonderful and I found some are neighbors. Everyone is just really thoughtful and friendly. When someone needs help the community jumps right in.
I never want to live in a large city again.

Cashion is a small town with friendly people that is close to Oklahoma City. The school system is small and you feel safe. It is a growing town but still small.
