In Fayetteville, military is a big focus as a large portion of those living here are employed by the military or have one if not more family members in the military. With the airborne museum, multiple parachute landing fields, an on-base living and schooling system, military is present in many people's daily lives.
In addition, Fayetteville has had a growth of businesses, local and international, coming and having success in this area.

There are many neighborhoods and apartment complexes and more in the process of being built that offer a standard yard, house and view. However, I live in Linden, a small city outside of Fayetteville where there's the option of buying large amounts of land. My family bought a couple of acres and built our house. Today, we live in a 12-house neighborhood surrounded by woods.
There are many annual events, the Christmas Parade, the Dogwood Festival, Fourth of July, the Dickens Festival, The Duck Race, the food festival, free concerts and more annually that have great turnouts of locals and receive great reviews. In many places that you go to shop or eat, people are friendly and sociable, as long as you reciprocate.
