The City of Carver has the feel of a small town but close to shopping and things you need. The City Management is involved in planning for expansion of retail, youth and elder needs while maintaining a small community vibe.
My family loves our small town- we have an adorable, authentic main street, with a small park with a gazebo, antique stores, florist, local bars and town hall. Everything is walkable by nature trails, and feels safe and cozy.
Quiet little city with fresh air and good people. The downtown is very small but Harvey's is a great restaurant with great people. I love being able to get away from all the noise and live in a safe area. The Minnesota river provides some decent fishing too if your into that.
