Moving from Michigan to Texas was a big move for me and my family. But relocating to Carrollton TX was one of the best decisions my family has ever made. Carrollton is filled with plenty job offers and people of all different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. The city is full of children and families, who are very friendly and have created an active community where seasonal festivals and events occur monthly. While Carrollton is beginning to be on the expensive side of the DFW area, you will get your money's worth of safety, diversity, and overall fun!
I have been all around Carrollton for the past 12-13 years. I have gone to Carrollton public schools, specifically in the Lewisville Independent School District since Kindergarten and thus have spent quite a good bit of time here. The area is fairly diverse with a bit of a larger Asian community and offers a range of establishments for dining and entertainment that cater to just about anyone. The schools are very good and the area is safe for anyone looking to settle down with a family here! Traffic around the schools gets busy during school hours but is otherwise not terribly busy and is close to major highways if commuters are planning on traveling to areas like Dallas for work. Local businesses are plentiful especially for those looking for part-time work such as students like myself. I enjoy spending my time here around my friends and with family, Carrollton has plenty to offer for anyone looking to reside here!
Honestly, I moved here about 2 years ago and I wasn’t so sure about it, but I got proved wrong. I absolutely love it here, and I made the most amazing friends because of the wonderful community here. Everyone is so nice and there’s so many activities to do here that’s why I like it so much. There’s nothing I would change about it here because everything is amazing!
