Carrollton is a growing city that is a perfect mix between city life and the suburbs. It has numerous parks, recreational areas, resteraunts, and public spaces making this city very family friendly. The city also has numerous public schools which provide high level education allowing students to further their education with the best instructors possible. Historic Downtown Carrollton allows you to get away for a night and experience the modernized area where the city began. This friendly hometown area has a variety of food ranging from delicious hamburgers to Cajun delicacies! Overall, Carrollton is an amazing city and I am grateful to be a resident in this city!

We have lived in Carrollton for 9 years now. We decided to move here wen our oldest child was born as we wanted a great city to raise our children. Carrollton has pros and cons like many other cities. Cons are it has became to busy. Crowded streets and constant roadway construction. Pros are you are in between both Fort Worth and Dallas which is a huge pro for us! Carrollton also offers many shopping centers, restaurants and night life.
Carrollton is a decent place to live, depending on what side you live in! North Carrollton tends to be nicer, and it has pockets of not-so-nice areas. My neighbors are friendly and keep to theirselves. My neighborhood does not have a local pool, which is inconvenient. You have to pay to join the Rosemeade Aquatic Center. Carrollton is nice and has great weather, except for the crazy Texas heat.
