I love this liberal, inclusive, walkable community! I love the farmer's markets, the coffee shops, the greenway and public spaces, co-op market and public transportation. It's a wonderful town where all are welcome.

Carrboro is the Brooklyn to Chapel Hill's Manhattan. It's a cool, graduate student and young family-friendly little town. The area is very walkable, lots of food, arts, and cultural events. Plus it is connected to Chapel Hill via its main street, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is only a mile or two away. The music scene and the bar scene is great too. The residents are friendly and the food co-op is a wonderful. Carrboro is a unique, hidden gem that is worth your time!
We moved here about 10 months ago from the San Francisco Bay Area. We couldn't be happier, this place is magical, so much to do, warm people, great food and great culture!
