Overall, Carpinteria is a very beautiful town with people who truly care. The city is very laid back and has a friendly feel. Although Carpinteria is a very small town, it is not difficult to find things to do. Most days, locals will spend their time at the beach or grab a bite to eat downtown. I love Carpinteria and all that it has to offer, however there is a tweak I would make so that it absolutely perfect. I wish locals were more willing to take care of their town, as there is trash and gum almost everywhere. This problem could be solved with programs that devote their time to cleaning the city and making it beautiful.

Carpenteria is a great small, laid back, clean city. Positives include the super close proximity to the beach, the World's Safest Beach for that matter, great weather, a nice, clean downtown, as well as the close-knit community. Drawbacks mainly come from it being such a small town, so prices are higher and there aren't as many options for stores and restaurants.
The small town of Carpinteria is the simply, the most comfortable place to live in. Besides it being on the coast, it gives people access to a train, trolley and fast paced roads. Carpinteria is full of shops for your groceries, beauty, banking, fast food, coffee, thrifting, candy, and any other miscellaneous needs. You'll see many people enjoying a walk to the park, walking their children to school, enjoying the fresh market on weekends, and exploring the small town's salt marsh trail. If you're looking for a friendly place to relax while having close access everything, consider Carpinteria the place for you.
