I just don't feel completely safe here. There are also very few good restaurants. I feel like there have been improvements made in the ten years we have lived here, but we will definitely be moving because of the poorly rated school system. We just need our house to increase in value, which is also moving very slowly here. Real estate does not seem to be increasing like the rest of the surrounding areas. I think this area has a lot of potential if they get more business and the riff raff moves out!

I would like to see more local stores and more stores. The mall is very empty and I feel like everything is closing down. Also the schools are poorly, and the teachers are not that great. I went to the schools there and I feel like the teaching was not the best. I also feel like the teachers took more in-depth and more in mind the white race rather than the Hispanic race. Another thing I would like to see change is the neighborhood is not that great as well. I feel like there is also people in the neighborhood that are breaking into the cars lately and into the homes, you have to be watching out for people like that.
I have lived in Carpentersville for many years , and I would love to see a change in the streets there are many potholes when driving that damages your car I hope the village can build better streets or fix the streets that are very damage . Also, at night in some of the streets it is very dark they don't have light poles therefore, it would be a great change if they put more lightning on the streets. Carpentersville is and affordable place to live and the people are friendly. It is growing more businesses are opening in the area. I would recommend a person to come and lived here.
