The Pennsgrove/ Carney's Point area used to be great. People didn't care what sneakers someone had, or what they were wearing. People didn't stand on the street corner like it was cool, they instead were in school. Education was deep and was dependent on the students tenacity, not whether the school had found yet another replacement for teachers no longer there. The quality of education surpassed expectations, instead of now expecting to be better to no avail. The kids roamed for joy, not for trouble. Houses were full of life, not filled with row upon rows of unkempt grass of vacant homes. Celebrities like Bruce Willis and athletes like Don Bragg once called this place home..now people call this place a ghetto. The goals of children here are simple; it's either that they strive to leave or they stay forever in this horrid deadzone of failed dreams and expectations. I used to believe this area had hope, but now aged into adulthood I realize there is, and never will be, anything here.

Great place for first time homebuyers!! Just like any other town, there are sections that aren't great, but once you do some research, you'll find Carneys Point a great place to live
Two major crimes areas, like mini Camden, NJ.
