Carnegie Reviews

Having recently moved to Carnegie, I do like the feel of the small town. The people are friendly and welcoming. There are not a lot of jobs here so more than likely you will have to commute to a nearby city. It seems pretty safe here and you don't hear about major crimes happening very often. If your looking for nightlife happenings...this is not your town.

I have lived in Carnegie pretty much my whole life. I went to High school in Carnegie and now my first born is graduating from Carnegie. This town has given me a safe environment to raise my children. I didn't finish college the first time around so now I am going back to obtain my degree. The people in Carnegie are very supportive and back me in my decision. They have been so helpful with this whole change in mine and the kids life. Our community has helped in every area in my families lives. We have been very blessed to live in this community although it seems to be going downhill. There is not much for teenagers to do in town other than go to our great 3 screen theatre that is known for their wonderful show pop and show dogs. Carnegie has so many great people in the community and they have blessed the lives of so many.
This town is the exact "small town USA" everyone wishes to grow up in. With a population of a little over 7,000 everyone knows everyone. I love how we have one of the oldest movie theaters in the state, and their amazing concession stand of the famous "show dogs, show pop", and their popcorn. We have many visitors that come from all over to give it a try and they always come back with friends or relatives.
