Mariemont and Del Dayo are elementary schools that are ranked a 9 and 10, respectively. The neighborhoods around these schools are definitely family friendly with regard to parents volunteering in schools, parent donations, family aid in times of crisis for other families, and quality time with their kids. Many parents were raised in these neighborhoods, left for college and returned to raise their families.

The neighborhoods here are very nice! The people are very friendly and are willing to help you out whenever they need, it is basically the definition of a good family neighborhood!
I love the city of Carmichael. It is very centrally located to the greater Sacramento suburbs and allows for easy access to Interstate 80 as well as Highway 50. The city itself has many restaurants, stores, grocery stores, and gas stations within close proximity to housing. I have found that living in this area has allowed me to cut down significantly in my commute to work and clinical sites and affords me with many future job opportunities after I graduate.
