Carlisle is not even considered a city because of how small we are and the amount of people that live here. With that being said, being a small community has it’s pros and cons. When there is a tragedy we come together as one to get through it. I’ve grown up with the same friends that I still have today. These are a couple pros. Some cons are that people tend to know all your “secrets” and that comes with drama that you may not have in larger cities.
It’s a village full of wonderful people who help and love each other! The school district is full of wonderful teachers and students!
Carlisle is a very quite and nice community to live in. I live in the southern side near Franklin Township in Warren County. The utility department payment for my trash and sewer is still a little behind the times and I cannot pay the bill online yet but I just have my bank send them the payment every month on the same day.
