I grew up in Cape Elizabeth and it was the best decision that my parents could have made. I got an incredible high school education that prepared me to attend a NESCAC. There are countless neighborhoods that are great for raising kids. Just 7 miles from portland, its easy to get to the city for amazing food or fun drinks. The three state parks in the town, combined with the thousands of acres dedicated to the Cape Elizabeth Land trust, the town has preserved its beautiful coastlines, beaches, woods, ponds, and marshes, each with miles of walking/running trails. If you are looking for a safe place to raise children and give them the best opportunities, Cape Elizabeth is unmatched.

Seaside town w/beautiful homes, parks and neighborhoods but overwhelmingly stultifyingly yuppified and I and everyone else would faint if I saw anything other than a white Protestant living here. Self satisfied towns like Cape are the reason people voted for Donald Trump.
Uber liberal, friendly, clean, safe and beautiful. I put up my rainbow flag and my neighbors were so amazingly supportive.
