You're really in tune with nature! The people are friendly and its quiet and peaceful in this town. It is a small town so there isn't a lot of big named stores but there are amazing small businesses and communities that thrive to make canton a better place every day.
Its a small rural town with tons of things to do outside. It has beautiful scenery and generally people are fairly nice because of the small town atmosphere. There is no traffic so you always know how long it takes to get anywhere. If you have a good group of friends or like spending time with your family you can always find something to do, whether its fishing, having a fire, or shoveling your driveway covered in multiple feet of snow. It really is a great place though.
There isn't much of a night life in Canton since the cows outnumber the residents when school isn't in session, but neighboring cities might provide some entertainment. Cheap homes/apartments, when construction isn't taking months at a time for a simple bridge commuting is fairly easy.
