I'm so excited to be talking to you guys about the city of lights A.K.A Canton, Ms. Canton is a lovely small town in central ms. In canton, we have a great historical background dealing with the great Dr. Martin Luther King and also slaves. We have many old slave homes that have been fixed on and looking all nice for our historical preference. Also, We have one of the few freedom homes that Dr. Martin Luther King slept in while he was trying to help register African Americans to vote in the south. One thing I feel canton could change is the way we vote. I feel more people should get out and vote at the polls. Many people have fought and died for us to vote, and some people barely want to get out and vote.

I love my city. I was born and raised here. Although Canton is a small town, the people that lives here find ways to have fun. I live in a city where everyone knows someone. Canton is the most friendliest town you could ever visit. We also love competition, the high school girl and boy teams love to show off their talent. Overall I wouldn't change anything about my city, we love each other and we welcome new people with open arms.
Canton is a small, mostly rural town. The major event is the Flea Market that takes place in the downtown area. The town is mainly residential. The schools are below average.
