I grew up in Canton and it's always been a safe community through my eyes. There is tons of shopping and good food on Ford Rd and Michigan Ave. Canton is in the center of the action. I mean its a quick 25-minute drive to the airport, Ann Arbor, and only about a 40-minute drive to downtown Detroit. I must say it can get quite boring as there isn't really places to walk around because all the main streets are busy. In the winter, roads are moderate, but being in Wayne County, it seems like they aren't a high priority. Potholes are an issue on many roads and don't seem to be fixed for a year to two years before they become very dangerous. Overall, Canton is a good place to live, it has a little bit of everything!

Canton Charter Township has been a wonderful place to grow up in. There are many different places to eat, shop, hang out, learn, and worship. Canton is a safe, diverse, growing area. I would definitely choose Canton to raise a family in!
Canton is a beautiful place to live and diverse. It’s constantly developing properties, although it is not the best spot if you’re a single young person looking to interact with other young people. It’s also been difficult to connect with other African-Americans. Overall, I’m still satisfied.
