I have been living here for 33 years. Safe and very family friendly. Bedroom community with a lot of open space to enjoy. Several parks with activities. Friendly people and look out for each other. Unfortunately not retirement friendly so off we go to Florida. Most homes are on a minimum of 1 acre. Schools are good. It is part of District 303 schools in Saint Charles. Not a lot of stores. Few restaurants. Not far from all the stores, gyms, movie theatres you could want. One hour on a train gets you downtown Chicago!

Campton Hills is a suburb located in the Chicago area. It's a quiet, friendly suburb flanked by a sizeable forest, large fields, and rolling hills. The community generally keeps to itself, which may be off-putting to those who crave a more social living experience. Additionally, there is little to do after 10pm. However, most people in the community prefer a quiet life, so this slower living pace is preferable. That being said, the area is not completely devoid of attractions. Downtown St. Charles is located within reasonable driving distance, and is packed with restaurants and stores. Even closer is South Elgin. Though it is smaller than downtown St. Charles, it has its fair share of interesting places to visit. Over all, Campton Hills is a small, quiet, and peaceful place where one can relax.
I love the area that I live in. It has a few great small towns perfect for bike riding, walking, going out on weekends and great night life. I could only dream to live in an area as great at St. Charles/Campton Hills. Our youth sports are thriving and our schools are continuing to achieve greater goals and higher test scores. Families in the area are very involved and continue to try and make our town and community a better place for everyone associated with it. 100% would consider moving into my town when I can or close to it!
