After living in Cameron, North Carolina for 3 and a half years I have learned a lot that I love about the area. Cameron has a everything a teen with free time could ask for, which I was surprised by since Cameron is not the largest city in the world. Although Cameron’s relatively small size does create problems when it comes to the availability of public services. Cameron and its surrounding areas grew faster than the local government could keep up with, and so there is a lack of schools for kids and firemen and police stations for the safety of the citizens. That being said Cameron doesn’t have any problems that could be solved with time.

I can definitely say I like living in Cameron more than I like Raeford or Fayetteville. There are still a lot more military people around than I actually like, but ultimately my neighborhood is pretty decent, they keep to themselves, and I am comfortable there. Just in time to move!
Cameron is a small town that does not require a stop light and basically everyone knows everyone. The town has a gas station, a elementary school and a small police station. When riding through or taking a walk through the shops, you can't help but feel as though you are taken back in time. It truly is a glorious experience and there is so much to see!
