Camden is a small town with lots of character. Sitting right near Mount Battie it is a tourist destination for sure. Beautiful landscapes and hillsides that will leave you wanting more. On main street you can enjoy little coffee shops and delis looking over the harbor. During the summer months there are sailing excursions daily and an excellent park to enjoy. There are many bed and breakfast inns as well, so finding somewhere to stay is never a struggle. For someone coming from a bigger city they may be shocked to find there arent a lot of food options available. There are about 5 restaurants in town to choose from. If you love the outdoors there are many hiking trails to choose from and excellent lakes to canoe or kayak on. It is a very gorgeous little town that is definitely worth a visit.
Camden is a great place for all ages. From the busy waterfront which includes a sailing program and multi-day sailing cruises. There are multiple mountains for hiking, as well as a beautiful lake perfect for swimming fishing and boating. Camden is quite the pristine place.
