The summers are FABULOUS. Beautiful and sunny.

Fall is BEAUTIFUL with the changing colors and cooler temps.

Spring is usually very nice too, although it can be somewhat rainy and cold sometimes.

Winter is great when there is a lot of snow. Otherwise, it gets dreary and long, with many cloudy days.

Icy roads occasionally impact early morning commutes, but the street crews usually do a great job on the main roads.

There are rarely any natural disasters, other than an occasional rare tornado.

Essentials are waterproof, warm wintercoats, boots, gloves and snow pants...umbrella in spring

I've enjoyed living here. Downtown Adrian has a lot of potential, and it's growing. New restaurants have come in the past two or three years, and the mall is soon to be revitalized. There are plans to make Adrian the quaint, cozy small town with the variety of a bigger city it always wanted to be. I'd recommend it if you can find the work to support yourself. It's moving forward in many good ways.
There are workout facilities available, tennis, club sports, dance etc. University of Michigan hospital system is within 45 minutes. Many people are overweight, possibly due to long winters. There is hiking and cross country skiing available at Hidden Lake Gardens.
