I've lived here my whole life. There's not much here, but the surrounding towns (Huxley, Maxwell) aren't too far away and there's a Kum & Go by the edge of Cambridge.
People who live here or in the neighboring towns that make up the school district have been here for generations. All of the teachers have gone to school together or the older ones taught the students parents. The area is predominantly white. There's a lot of people who are related, but some new people are moving in. The area is pretty much solely Christian-for example we are still able to call winter break Christmas break and we sing a lot of religious songs in school. Everyone is pretty friendly while walking or driving everyone waves at one another and people will quickly strike up a conversation with you if you happen to walk by. It's the type of town where everyone pretty much knows everyone.
Everyone is pretty friendly around here. If you like a nice, quiet small town then this is a place for you. Most families have lived in the area for generations. The school district is small as well and people move here from large towns for it. There are many events throughout the year many geared towards families or young children. The events are mostly in the summer and fall though are a few more in winter and spring.
