I love it here! Cambridge, MA is the Mecca of Biotechnology, which is what I want to continue in my Professional Career, but also in Graduate School. It is very safe, diverse, The Top Two Universities in the World are here, the salary is high, specially for those who work in Tech and Biotech meaning that you can easily have a great quality of life. Lastly, I highly recommend those who are ambitious and career driven to move here, if you can make it here, you can make it ANYWHERE!
Absolutely love, love, LOVE it here!!! This city EMBODIES my "home away from home" -I'm formerly from both the Bay Area, CA and Atlanta, GA. Not once did I even think or consider Cambridge, the home of Harvard University and MIT, would provide me with the best qualities of the two homes I grew up in before moving up north to pursue higher education and advance my skillset/studies in the Boston area. For anyone interested in furthering their studies (whether it be for undergrad or graduate school), starting their careers or career exploration, or simply moving to a new place for a fresh slate and start a new chapter in their life, Cambridge is the place to be.
Living in Cambridge has been a wonderful experience. The rich diversity allows every resident and visitor feel at home. The commute to work, to Boston, and to the surrounding towns is very easy. Public transportation is easily accessible. Cambridge is a very safe and family friendly (and dog friendly!) town. I hope to live here for years to come!
