The good:

more house for the money, lower crime.

The bad:

Dry county, extremely limited shopping (walmart), nothing to do here. You have to drive to Little Rock for events and decent restaurants. No jobs here, so you need to be prepared to drive. A lot! Limited options for cable/internet.

Cabot is a pretty good community. It has excellent schools for the fast pace growth in the youth and has a pretty large population. Cabot does lack activities with it being such a big place. It is also in need of the roads being completely redone as well as enlarged due to the amount of traffic.
Overall, Cabot is a very safe, family oriented community!
We moved to Cabot in 1989. My husband was stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville.
Cabot has grown so much from the small town we moved to to a large crowded commuter city were you have neighbors but don't really know anyone because all of the jobs are in North Little Rock or Little Rock. The highway has been under some form of construction the whole thirty years we have lived in Cabot, this makes the morning and afternoon drive to and from Little Rock a nightmare every single day. I would move out of Cabot if I were not here helping my dad take care of my mother, who had a stoke a year ago.
