I love this little "retirement" town however, it's like pulling teeth to get the city council to approve any new business to come into town. We're right off 60 hwy and it would be very convenient for travelers to stop and shop or eat. There's no growth here and unfortunately, it could easily be classified as a dying town because of that but all in all it's a mostly peaceful place to live.
A small town that isn’t going anywhere. There’s nothing for young people to do. A couple fast food restaurants, two Casey’s gas station, Sinclair’s, plenty of churches, shopping is limited.
I’ve lived in Cabool most of my life and it’s small, yes, but it’s such a happy and friendly community. I’ve been to many places and not a single one compares to Cabool.
