Yuma County is a small and quiet town. When it comes to entertaiment it doesn't have much to offer. Yuma is located at the southwest corner of Arizona near the border of California and Mexican border. A pleasant spot in the desert, Yuma originally was a crossing point at the Colorado River for California settlers. The main attraction of Yuma might be that its one of the driest and sunniest places in the country, averages almost 300 days of sunshine each year.I personally enjoy the tranquil environment Yuma has to offer. For any entrtainmet or quick getaway its an and easy drive to San Diego or Mexico!

It is a small town, mainly centered around agriculture and the Marine Corps Air Station. There is plenty to do, if you are willing to look for it. Despite the heat, get outdoors and enjoy all that Yuma/surrounding AZ has to offer. It is worth it!
I like Yuma because it doesn’t snow and the winter is amazing. It is also in the middle of many major cities such as San Diego, Las Vegas and Phoenix. The summers are awful. It’s typically in the 120’s for the overall summer temperatures. That is the only main issue, but the people are amazing and also the food is great!
