I like that it is family friendly. I would like more. Places for younger adults to hang out. York county is a beautiful and charming neighborhood, the walkways and bike paths make getting around both easy and fun. Everyone is kind, caring, and helpful. We all look out for each other and are invested in keeping our neighborhoods safe. I also love how animal friendly York county is, on beautiful days most people (including myself) walk their dogs through the neighborhood. The ponds also make the scenery even more beautiful.

Great Community! Truly enjoy living in the Tidewater region of Virginia. The area is also historically rich, and the schools are nice.
I've lived in York County since 2005 and I've raised my children here. We've had great experiences with school system. Everyone involved has been very helpful. Real estate and current area are great. Lots to explore in the area. I live in a historical area and we have lots to explore. Close to the beach and night life. Just across the bridge is Gloucester. Newport news is close as well for shopping. It's been great living here.
