Washoe County Reviews

Washoe County is a quiet but fun community to live in. People are very nice around and ready to help you. There are all kinds of interested community activities along Truckee River every week and you will never get bored living here. All year round, you got Rib Cook-Off, Rodeo, Hot August night and every other local event to keep you and your family busy and happy. Commute time here is the least I've seen so far among all the communities I lived in before. In less than 20 minutes, you can get to anywhere you need for your daily living, such as your work, hospitals, restaurants, shopping centers and even the neighbor cities. The traffic here never drives you crazy. The few things that need changes are the parking in UNR, the housing price and the gas price, which needs to go down not just a little bit here. Other than that, this is a great place to spend the rest of the life in.

Washoe Valley is just North of Carson City, the states capital and South of Reno; The Biggest Little City. Washoe is very spaced out with each home being on a few acres at least. Washoe is great for the farmers and ones who enjoy the quiet nights and beautiful sunsets & sunrises over the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Convenient as well with Carson City and Reno being just a few minute drive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
