Washington County Tennessee is a wonderful place to live! It is located in northeast Tennessee in the mountains. The area is saturated with activities for all ages both indoors and out. There are yearly festivals, farmer's markets, historical sites, shopping venues, chain and local restaurants, movies theatres, hiking trails, fishing streams, local breweries, coffee shops, a lake, public playgrounds, sport complexes, night life activities, museums, churches, and a civic auditorium that hosts various events. We are a well diversified area thanks to two local colleges and health care facilities. One aspect of change in our area is the support of the development of local businesses. It helps boost our local economy and supports the family members of our community. I hope this growth continues to help develop our area because this area of Appalachia has many genuine gifts to offer both locals and visitors.

This area is surrounded with green! Green everywhere: fields, trees, mountains, hills, meadows, etc. The community is very involved in outdoor activities, such as: sports, hunting, fishing, landscaping, etc.
There are some things happening lately that are not normal that create cause for concern. However, the police in this area work hard to keep things under control.
