Walton county for the most part is pretty safe town. It's small, everyone knows everyone, so you can't really get away with anything. The good side of that is if you needed help, someone is always there willing to help. One thing I would like to see in this small community would be more "mom and pop" restaurants, not chain restaurants. Also, more community buildings, where people can gather and more local things can be held.

It is a smaller county, everyone knows everyone or knows about them. For the most part it is pretty quite. It seems to be trying to grow!
I have lived in Walton County my whole life. I enjoy living here, and love everything about it. There is so many food and store options in every direction. Our school systems are also very well run and maintained. Walton County is a wonderful place to live.
