Union County is an excellent place to live. There 30 elementary schools, 10 middle schools, 12 high schools and also 3 special purpose schools. There are two colleges in Union County, Win-gate University and South Piedmont Community College. There are plenty of jobs opportunities that are available from ages 15 and up. There are fairs every year, amusement parks, concerts, etc. If I had to recommend someone from out of town to visit or live in Union County I most definitely would!

Union county is consistently growing. The population is growing at such a rapid rate. A lot of public schools have reached their maximum capacity of students. Because of this a lot of students are being redistricted to schools that are further away from their homes. On the bright side, living in Union county is pretty affordable. There are a lot of job opportunities because of how large it is.
I like that everyone is very friendly and willing to provide help as well as it is monitered very frequently by the police to create a safe environment. I do think Union County should do more family- orientated community events to really get everyone involved. It would allow for the community to be close and we can come together to fix issues such as redistricting. The education is moderate but redistricting frequently is hassle for families with multiple children and different ages as the younger ones cannot be grandfathered in due to age gaps.
