Union County Reviews

Union County is a tiny yet accepting community. While it's not busy like big cities, it's very mellow and calming, with many opportunities to explore. Spending the majority of my life here, I have experienced North Carolina at its finest and have been gifted many opportunities and open doors in my life here.
Union county used to be a quiet place where there was nature and you could stargaze at night. Now all these people from New York and other areas are living here and turning it into a congested, loud and annoying place to live.
They have no respect for long tern residents that have a family history and heritage here. I have lived in the Fairview community for nearly 30 years. Starting about a year and half ago there were houses going on down the road from me.
Part of the beauty of the country is the stargazing at night.
These 15 houses decided they needed about the same amount of streetlights. It has ruined the sky viewing at night. The traffic is heavier and the drivers are disrespectful and loud.
They ruined Charlotte now they are ruining Union County.

Union County is an excellent place to live. There 30 elementary schools, 10 middle schools, 12 high schools and also 3 special purpose schools. There are two colleges in Union County, Win-gate University and South Piedmont Community College. There are plenty of jobs opportunities that are available from ages 15 and up. There are fairs every year, amusement parks, concerts, etc. If I had to recommend someone from out of town to visit or live in Union County I most definitely would!
