Transylvania County Reviews

Transylvania county covers several little towns. All of these towns are nice, but I like living in Penrose best. The corner gas station knows you by name and everyone is very welcoming. We are close to two state forests, Pisgah Forest and DuPont. We have plenty of fishing, camping, trails, and horseback riding. The views are breathtaking and the atmosphere is amazingly cozy. Great place to visit and a wonderful place to live.

This is the worst place that I have ever lived! If you are not in a gated community...then don't live here. There are no jobs. People hire based oon nepotism. Crime is high...they don't report half of it. Corrupt small town where men like to Harrass women! Deliverance comes to mind. Vandalism, break ins, drugs and evil neighbors. Noisy at night and they will shoot your pets, trespass and steal. This is the biggest hell hole in the world. The only nice thing is scenery.dogs shot and drugs and alcohol. Some cops very mean.
