Living in this small town has its pros and cons. Pros being that you always know somebody no matter where you go in this town. Cons being that there is not much to do here except to go somewhere else. It is a very cozy and welcoming town. Ripley will forever be my home but I do not plan to live here forever!

The community always has event son the square on the weekends. Festivals, cook-offs, markets are held there often. Neighbors here are very neighborly.
The only nationally-known store around here would be Dollar General. There is only one local business that I know of, but they may be closing. You can get a majority of what you need here, however you'd still have to go out of town to get other necessary things.
