It's a small town with lots of outdoor thisngs to do not far away. From hikes in the forest to watching the sunset on the beach. Also we have some really awsome ice cream and squeaky cheese!
Great family friendly community. Public schooling is far from the greatest but very diverse. It takes less than 10 minutes to get from one side of town to the other and there are numerous activities around the area to partake in such as: Sand Lake Dunes, Browns Camp, Tillamook Cheese Factory tour, the beach, and the local YMCA. There are many annual runs, and beach clean ups to get involved with the community. The high school holds an annual charity drive for the Doernbeckers Childrens Hospital which the entire community gets involved. For jobs, the opportunities mostly involve a trade. Electricians, contractors, loggers, mill hands, and warehouse positions are the vast majority of the jobs but there is a hospital, multiple dentistry offices, a counseling center, and many chiropractor practices for a medical field opportunity.
