I was born and raised in Modesto, Ca. I love living here. There is hardly anything that happens in my neighborhood. Our neighbors are friendly and we look out for one another. If I could change something about Stanislaus county it would be larger diversity of restaurants and entertainment.

The weather is great here and while there are many entertainment, arts and sporting opportunities here in Modesto, we are also within two hours of a huge number of opportunities, from Yosemite National Park to the east and the Bay Area to the west.
Like any other town, Modesto has its good and bad qualities. The people are kind and generous, and almost everything is in walking distance. Sadly the crime rate has been getting higher and higher.
