St. Clair County Reviews

I was born and raised in St. Clair County. It is located fifteen minutes outside of St. Louis, MO. It provides suburban life for families with access to city. Therefore; I feel it is the best of both worlds. The central hub of St. Clair County is a town called Fairview Heights, IL. Fairview Heights is a mini shopping and dining mecca and allows access to St. Clair County residents without traveling to the big city. I'd recommend St. Clair County to anyone looking to move to St. Clair County.

It is known for letting criminals off with minimal if any punishment, therefore crime is higher than most places. Taxes are insanely high, unless you are some type of politician, etc... In my opinion, the public schools are mostly afraid to punish children or get parents involved and education is hurting when they allow kids to retake tests a few times to get the better grade. Location is nice, but overall, not a great safe place to raise kids.
