St. Charles is a typical suburb of St. Louis. It is filled with local shops, restaurants, and parks that make it unique. Downtown/Old Town St. Charles also is special due to the cobblestone streets, riverfront dining, and old shops. The Katy Trail is also great for both exercising and experiencing the path Louis and Clark took while exploring the West. Cottleville is also a cute place to go to for local shops and dining. Plank Road Pizza is constantly busy with foodies due to their tasty crust. Manino’s is also a local market in Cottleville that sells quality meats at low prices. That’s where my mom buys our steaks. Manino’s also has the best watermelon. They have the sweetest and juciest watermelon that no grocery store chain can compete with. St. Charles is filled with friendly people that love to support local storeowners and local dining spots.

I love Saint Charles, but there need to be more Starbucks put in! And a Whole Foods would be great. The town is great with nice people, great law enforcement, and it's very clean. I wish that there was more to do, and more in the way of shopping. The Mid Rivers Mall isn't far, but it's not a great mall. I know that they are building a new outdoor mall close by and that will be great for shopping!
Great place to live! Good schools, love the library system, and lots of things to do. Must check out downtown St Charles for lots of cool shops and places to eat. Tony’s on main and Picasso’s coffee are my must see places.
