Somerset County offers a very diverse community with many activities available. There are numerous parks and outdoor facilities that promote exercise. The public school system is mediocre, but there are a number of excellent private institutions available. Somerset County has become increasingly crowded over the years, and this influx of people has led to increased crime. Some areas of Somerset County are not very safe. However, there are many affluent areas in the county. Many opportunities exist for one to find employment. Grocery stores and other small businesses are always eager to hire young adults as part-time employees.
Somerset County is very diverse and friendly overall. The people are great and in most cases are pleasant to one another. Because of the diversity, people are welcoming and try to understand each other's backgrounds. The crime rates have increased recently unfortunately which is something I would like to change.
The people are so diverse and friendly. The law enforcement are at every school not only protecting and keeping the peace, but encouraging to the kids. They really make an effort to create great relationships even with the most troubled of teens. From my experience, the teachers really care. It's a tight community yet you have your privacy and there's always open for great people. Family oriented and very beautiful.
