Been in this county all my life. It has grown a lot since I was young. Lot of subdivision now and fast food. Great people, wonderful churches and private school. Moved away after graduation and did not stay gone long. Came back due to friends and this is all I knew. Lot of contacts and locals who have been here all their life. Just love this county and all the folks in it. Lot of factory work, fast food, grocery stores and other places one can find a job. We have a great drug rehab program with houses for men and women who are recovering. They try to help them adjust back into the community and be successful. The community supports this outreach very well. We have a good park system, great fire, EMS and police departments to care for and keep us safe. Thanks for allowing me to complete this review. If you have never visited I highly recommend that you do.

Just a small Kentucky county. Pubic engagement with town life is optional, people are friendly, and small slices of Heaven are everywhere if you look hard enough. There are plenty of places for families to spend time together, but nightlife is not great unless you head to Louisville or Lexington.
I enjoy the Park and recreational center and clear creek lake which offers nice scenery. I would change the local farmland selling out due to the economy and the boom of neighborhoods growing in the area. Great location, between Lexington and Louisville with very few restaurants to choose for dining.
