I have lived in different areas of Saratoga county for the past 11 years. It's beautiful here. Horse country. A place full of culture. Down town Saratoga Springs has beautiful parks, ballets, plays, and all styles of eateries and hotels. Saratoga lake has sailing tournaments. And the Vermont border is only about 45 minutes away! Negative part to all this is you need to have the money. Many people commute to Albany for work. I love to see the farms on the out skirts of the city. Schools are good, hospitals are good. Again, all this comes at a price. Even the smaller towns around it are nice.

Saratoga is a wonderful county to live in. The taxes are low, there are wonderful people and neighbors, and many activities that are both active and relaxing. The Saratoga state park is one of my favorite places. I can take my dog and go for walks and let her swim for free! There is also downtown Saratoga that has night life and good shopping and dining throughout the day.
My overall experience with Saratoga County has been very pleasant. It has been my home for the past few years and i have enjoyed my time here. There is a lot of activities offered and places to visit. My only complaint about the area has been with horse racing track. While it is good for the local economy, the track brings a serious influx of traffic.
