I love the diversity along with the enormous array of food choices to eat. Living on the east coast was a complete 360 degree. People were mostly white or black, no diversity where I was living.
In addition, restaurant choices were not abundant. I love California! When I came out here due to my father retiring from the army I was shocked at how different life was opposed to Virginia living. Furthermore the weather is fantastic. In Virginia summer meant humidity, very sticky and gross is what I remember. California weather is perfect, I love the sun beaming on my skin.

Santa Clara County is all about amazing opportunities! We are in the heart of the Silicon Valley which has established many great companies such as Google, Yahoo, Facebook, and so much more! The community is friendly, outgoing, and safe! We are an approachable community and always willing to help others when needed.
Santa Clara is a beautiful and safe place to live. It is strange but the weather really is perfect throughout the entire year. There is so much nature! For example there are many gardens, my favorite is the Rose Garden I could spend hours a day there. There is also a lot of food/shopping. I think I live about ten minutes or less from three different malls. The downtown life is also nice, especially on the weekends where there is usually live music. There are many places to eat that you can really only find in Santa Clara, you just have to look out for them. The community is close and involved.
