I love it out here due to being close to the big city life and also there is a lot of work out here. I love the social life they have to offer here its big and its super close to Los Angeles only 1 hour away or less, and great prices on rent and even prices on buying a house. I would recommend it to anyone, I come for the big city life in l.a. but san Bernardino matches it. I would also say the nightlife is great lots of bars and things to do out there. The biggest thing I would out here it's easy to live a healthy life out here. a lot of great vegan restaurants and markets as well. I love all of the fruit farms they have over here, great dates. about the safety its okay, its a little active but overall it's great it's like anywhere else keep your things safe, and you're great.
Generally unsafe in the downtown area and at night throughout the city of San Bernardino, however in the Big Bear Valley cities, safe and quiet.
What I like about San Bernardino County is the schooling, such as Middle College High School and Richardson Preparatory High Middle School. Middle College allows students to learn in a high school and college courses.
San Bernardino county has always been an adventures county with lots of spirit. Some changes that need be made are cleaning the area, safer walking locations, and more security.
San Bernardino county is alright because is could a little scary sometimes. something i would like to see is a park.
I moved to the county about 3 years ago. I have noticed that more attention should be brought to the maintaining and repairing of roads and pavements.
I used to be a residence of Los Angeles so when I moved to San Bernardino it was a big change. The first thing I notices was that there was a lot less traffic in the area. There were also less activities to do around the are and I would have to travel a good distance to find enjoyable things. At night it is a bit rough because there are many homeless everywhere I go.
I like how close it is to the mountains, however, the people throughout the city are ever so inconsiderate. I would like to see the residents taking better pride in where they live.
This is a relatively inexpensive neighborhood. As with all neighborhoods, there is good and bad. For the most part, this is a decent area to live.
The environment is positive in some areas and extremely negative in others. It seems as if it's really bad, although there are other areas that seem to beat that stereotype.
San Bernardino has seen better days. It is so sad to see so many homeless and poverty stricken families in my community, and more can be done to help reverse this trend. So much of the violence and lack of opportunities can be attributed to the injustices this community faces. With help from local and federal government funding, these vulnerable families can be uplifted. The children in this area need better education and the parents of this community need programs to fall back on or help them onto their feet again such as food pantries and access to food stamps. As well as safer parks to encourage exercise in order to also fight against obesity that is easily contracted in this community. And access to programs like planned parenthood will help with family planning and options after pregnancy as well. More can and should be done to help the people of San Bernardino County.
This county is diverse and a great small town where you get to know everyone on a close level. Everyone is like family and will do any and everything to ensure that you are living a decent life. They say its a dangerous place to live and that it's very poor....those may be true...but everyone here is so genuine and that doesn't come from the opinion of those who have been living here their whole lives. Everyone wants to make San Bernardino a better place and it's full of great people
The crime rate is steadily increasing so there needs to be better patrol of that. On the other hand, the weather is nice and it is a relatively affordable county.
I would like to see gas prices go down. I would also like to see our roads be worked on, because there are so many potholes. I would like to see cleaner streets and schools as well. San Bernardino is not as bad as its reputation, but it is not great either.
I have recently moved away from my home town to attend college, but I miss the atmosphere! The beautiful surrounding mountains and friendly people make the environment so nice to live. It is the perfect distance from the beach, mountains, and deserts.
San Bernardino county is a very average place to live. Depending on you choose to live. San Bernardino County is also very large so there is a lot of place you can live. There is many schools you around pre-k through 12 there is college around to like Valley college and Cal State San Bernardino.
I would like to see more safety and less poverty in San Bernardino. Although our homeless population is not as large as other cities it could still be changed. Also, the education system should look upon a better criteria and system for their schools.
